UTC's renewable energy team includes an engineering staff with professional registration having careers in hands-on research for the Department of Energy and private industry in the purchasing, handling, and combustion/conversion of a wide range of fossil and renewable energy sources including biomass, wind, and solid waste. We have hands-on experience in industrial and municipal solid waste collections, handling, recycling, and landfilling. The UTC staff has experience in petroleum georesource development, natural gas pipeline construction, and electric utility including electric power generation, transmission, and distribution. One member of the energy team is the author of an energy security supply textbook.

UTC understands the thinking, concerns, and reservations of many branches of the federal Government and appreciates the ramification of complying with the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and Executive Order 13423. We stand ready to assist in the accomplishment of renewable energy projects for our Government and industrial clients.
